Ken Hannah is the CFO of Brown Shoe Company. Prior to his role at Brown Shoe, Ken was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of J.C. Penney, responsible for leadership of all finance, stores, purchasing and communications functions. He was a member of the Executive Board and Chairman of the Investment Committee for the Company’s $5 Billion Pension Plan and $3 Billion 401k plan. Prior to joining J.C. Penney, Ken served as Executive Vice President and President of Solar Energy at SunEdison, formerly MEMC Electronic Materials, Inc., a world leader in semiconductor and solar technology. SunEdison manufactures solar technology Prior to joining MEMC, Hannah was the Sr. Vice President, Operations for The Home Depot responsible for all aspects of Store Operations in the US, Mexico and Canada. He also served as the Sr. Vice President, Finance responsible for the $70 Billion Retail business and Vice President, Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis with additional responsibilities for strategy, M&A and services.

Ken holds an MBA in International Business from Saint Louis University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale where he has been inducted into the College of Business and Administration Hall of Fame and is an active member of the External Advisory Board.
